Our mission is to ensure efficient management of credit granting and maintenance, guaranteeing profitability and solid growth of the Organization’s assets. The Wholesale Portfolio Management area is expanding, and we are looking for professionals to help us build solutions supporting strategic decisions regarding capital allocation and risk mitigation. Work model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite Location: Osasco/SP or Curitiba/PR **What will your day-to-day look like?** As a Data Scientist Specialist, you will work within the Wholesale Portfolio Management division, and your main responsibilities will include: * Developing and applying machine learning models for monitoring and forecasting portfolio performance, as well as anticipating probable losses, delinquency, and credit deterioration; * Portfolio clustering to identify risk patterns, behavioral trends, and action opportunities; * Building and maintaining intelligent early-warning signals for continuous credit risk monitoring, enabling proactive risk mitigation actions; * Conducting exploratory and diagnostic analyses on portfolio behavior, customer segmentation, and financial product performance; * Supporting data-driven credit strategy definition, contributing to decisions related to credit granting, renewal, and recovery; * Participating in innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, proposing new analytical approaches, methodologies, and technologies applicable to portfolio management; * Developing interactive dashboards and reports for tracking portfolio KPIs using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. * **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Bachelor’s or graduate degree in quantitative fields or disciplines related to Data Science, such as Statistics, Systems Analysis, or Mathematics; * Advanced knowledge of Statistics, including descriptive statistics, data visualization, probability, sampling techniques, and inferential statistics; * Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience developing analytical solutions using Machine Learning (training/validation/test pipelines, supervised and unsupervised algorithms, evaluation metrics) or optimization; * Advanced programming skills in Python/SAS/SQL/Spark, with experience using data science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc.); * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); * Ability to effectively translate large volumes of data into objective, strategic executive presentations; * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS); * Experience working in financial institutions, particularly within portfolio management teams, credit strategy development, or risk mitigation policy creation.
