**About the position**
We are seeking a **Production Supervisor** to lead operations on the factory floor, ensuring adherence to the production schedule with a focus on **safety, quality, productivity, deadlines, and operational discipline**.
This role will play an essential part in managing the shift/area routine, directly supervising operational teams, monitoring KPIs, and responding promptly to deviations—contributing to operational stability and plant performance.
**Key responsibilities**
* Supervise productive activities within the area or shift, ensuring compliance with the production schedule.
* Lead operators, cell leaders, and other operational staff by assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
* Ensure operational discipline, routine organization, and adherence to established standards.
* Monitor daily production KPIs—including losses, scrap, rework, downtime, absenteeism, overtime, and plan adherence.
* Respond promptly to operational deviations, supporting root cause identification and corrective action implementation.
* Guarantee compliance with process standards, work instructions, and quality requirements.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, proper use of PPE, and safe practices in the manufacturing environment.
* Manage team routines—including shift handovers, daily alignment meetings, feedback sessions, scheduling, vacation planning, and personnel time tracking.
* Support the technical and behavioral development of the team, identifying training needs.
* Collaborate with PCP, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Occupational Safety, and HR to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Monitor setups, changeovers, process adjustments, and resource availability.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, waste reduction, and productivity enhancement.
* Report major events, risks, deviations, and support needs to the immediate supervisor.
**Requirements (mandatory)**
* Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in **Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics**, or related fields.
* Minimum of **3 years’ experience in industrial operations**, including at least **1 year directly leading operational teams**.
* Experience managing daily factory routines and supervising teams in a production environment.
* Knowledge of interpreting production KPIs.
* Knowledge of activity planning and follow-up.
* Familiarity with basic problem analysis tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially **Excel**.
* Basic understanding of quality, safety, productivity, working hour control, scheduling, and operational discipline.
**Preferred qualifications (desirable)**
* Completed degree and specialized courses in people management, production processes, Lean Manufacturing, or related areas.
* Experience supervising production in medium- or large-scale industrial environments—preferably in the **metallurgical, automotive components, serial manufacturing**, or transformation process sectors.
* Knowledge of **Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S, visual management, OEE, TPM, industrial ERP systems, and Power BI**.
