Job Summary: Warehouse Clerk position at a supermarket, responsible for verifying and controlling the entry and exit of products, ensuring integrity and validity. Key Highlights: 1. Verifies and controls received items, ensuring compliance with invoices. 2. Evaluates packaging condition and product integrity, identifying damages. 3. Records information in management systems to maintain updated inventory. Supermarket seeks a Warehouse Clerk in Manaus. **Responsibilities:** Confirm that items received from suppliers match the specifications on the invoice (quantity, product type, and weight). Assess packaging condition and product integrity, identifying any damages or defects that may compromise saleability. Ensure received products have an appropriate shelf life for commercialization, rejecting items nearing expiration per store guidelines. Record inbound and outbound information in management systems (e.g., WMS or data collectors) to keep virtual inventory updated. Immediately notify the purchasing or logistics department in case of missing items, delivery errors, or incorrect merchandise. Actively participate in physical product counts during periodic stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Previous experience as Inventory Clerk, Loading Clerk, Merchandise Clerk, or Receiving Clerk may indicate alignment with some activities of this role. High school diploma required.
