The Academic Partnerships Network Manager role operates systemically across the ecosystem of partner laboratories at the Kunumi Institute. The role integrates relationship management, scientific articulation, institutional governance, and internationalization, ensuring the Co.Labs Network grows, collaborates, and delivers impact in a coordinated manner. It is a role that unifies operations, science, strategy, and relationship-building within a highly complex academic environment. This purpose translates, in practice, into the following Jobs to Be Done: **Develop a systemic and strategic vision for the Co.Labs Network:** integrate information, capabilities, and perspectives from diverse laboratories, strengthening coherence, collaboration, and impact across the network as a whole **Orchestrate the Network’s connections, events, and initiatives:** plan and lead meetings, programs, rituals, and initiatives that sustain collaboration, engagement, and vitality within the partner academic community **Manage and strengthen international relationships:** lead global partnerships with foreign laboratories, facilitating strategic dialogues, joint agendas, and deep collaborations **Connect dimensions of relationship-building, operations, and scientific production:** serve as a convergence point among institutional relationship management, lab operations, and scientific research, promoting alignment and fluidity among these areas **Critically evaluate work plans and scientific agreements:** analyze project feasibility, deliverables, dependencies, and risks across the network, supporting institutional decision-making and ensuring strategic coherence **Establish integrated governance for the Network:** define processes, cadences, and rituals that ensure continuous monitoring, predictability, and maturity in relationships with each partner laboratory **Develop executive narratives and reports about the Network:** synthesize advances, challenges, outcomes, and impacts of the network into clear, consistent, and decision-oriented documents and presentations **Identify academic opportunities, gaps, and synergies:** map potential connections among laboratories, researchers, and research areas, expanding collective capabilities and reinforcing cooperation **What We Expect From You** ---------------------------- Experience managing partnerships, networks, or complex institutional articulations. Senior-level ability to manage high-sensitivity relationships, including internationally. Ability to operate at the intersection of operations, science, and governance. Capacity to analyze scientific projects from both strategic and operational perspectives. Systemic thinking and ability to connect multiple stakeholders and domains. Clear communication and excellent synthesis skills. Organizational ability to coordinate network events, rituals, and initiatives. Fluent English and willingness to travel. **What Is Considered a Plus** -------------------------------------- Prior experience with research networks or international scientific partnerships. Experience with scientific production, research operations, or laboratory management. Experience with funding calls, scientific funding, or university-industry cooperation.
