Your challenges will include: * Procuring specific materials and equipment for construction and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and established standards. * Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria, seeking optimal cost\-benefit ratio. * Negotiating contracts, delivery timelines, and supply terms with suppliers to ensure product quality and on\-time deliveries. * Developing and maintaining strong relationships with strategic suppliers to foster long\-term partnerships. * Monitoring and controlling the procurement budget, ensuring adherence to established limits. * Tracking cost variations and proposing solutions to optimize the procurement process and reduce expenses. * Reviewing technical and commercial proposals to ensure purchased materials and services comply with project requirements and regulatory standards. * Collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand technical specifications of required materials and equipment. * Ensuring timely delivery of purchased products and services to prevent impacts on construction schedules. * Coordinating logistics and storage of materials, ensuring proper delivery and storage at construction sites. * Managing inventory levels according to ongoing project demands. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields. * Experience in technical procurement, preferably in civil construction or engineering sectors. \- Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and applicable technical standards. \- Ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and manage complex contracts. * Ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate across multiple departments.
