Key responsibilities: Act as a dedicated DBA for the project; Perform installation, configuration, and administration of MySQL environments; Ensure performance, tuning, and optimization by applying industry best practices; Support database migration and integration projects, ensuring high availability and data integrity; Implement and maintain clustering and replication solutions for critical environments; Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with the DBA and architecture teams; Follow technical standards and best practices defined by the client; Report directly to the project team; We understand that for this role, the following is required: Advanced and proven expertise in MySQL; Installation, configuration, and administration of complex environments; Query and index tuning, performance, and optimization; Implementation and maintenance of clusters (InnoDB Cluster, Shell, MySQL Router, Galera Cluster); Experience in data migration and cross-platform integration; Immediate availability, with no need for an onboarding period; Replication and high-availability strategies; Focus on results, agility, and performing under pressure and tight deadlines. Desired qualifications: Oracle and SQL Server (intermediate level); Critical environments; Cloud databases (Azure, AWS RDS, OCI, Azure Database for MySQL); Database security and compliance.
