The **Restaurant Shift Coordinator** is the professional responsible for leading daily operations during a specific shift (opening, mid-shift, or closing). They ensure product quality standards, excellence in customer service, and direct support to general management * **Opening or Closing:** Perform infrastructure checklists, daily inventory counts, and shift handovers. * **Operational Leadership:** Assign staff to stations (cashier, kitchen, dining area) and monitor production pace. * **Financial Control:** Conduct cash withdrawals, register openings, closings, and cash reconciliation during the shift. * **Food Safety:** Monitor hygiene practices, ingredient expiration dates, equipment temperatures, and proper use of PPE. * **Customer Service:** Resolve complaints, process refunds, and ensure order delivery efficiency. * **Hands-on Support:** Provide direct assistance in operational areas—kitchen or counter—during peak hours.
