Software Engineer – Backend (Payments) – Mid-Level **About the Challenge** You already know how to write code that works. Now you want to write **code that runs in production, at scale, and within a regulated environment**, learning from senior engineers who have already tackled the most complex challenges of the **National Financial System (NFS)**. This is an opportunity for those seeking **consistent technical growth**, in a context where **reliability, quality, and rigor** are non-negotiable. **Summary of Responsibilities** * Develop new features and implement fixes in payment systems under the guidance of the Tech Lead; * Implement integrations with internal APIs and messaging systems; * Write automated tests (unit and integration) as a natural part of the development workflow; * Participate in code reviews, absorb technical feedback, and consistently apply improvements; * Contribute to technical documentation for developed systems; * Handle low-complexity incidents with support from the senior team. **Technical Requirements** * Practical experience in **backend development**; * Strong proficiency in **.NET (C\#) with ASP.NET Core**; * Ability to design and evolve APIs without relying on tutorials; * **Solid knowledge of:** relational databases, REST APIs, clean code principles, and engineering best practices; * Ability to receive technical feedback and continuously improve; * Genuine interest in understanding the **financial domain**, going beyond mere task execution. **What We Expect From You** * Structured logical reasoning and attention to detail; * Commitment to quality, security, and reliability; * Strong technical communication and teamwork collaboration; * Discipline to follow processes in a regulated environment; * Mindset of continuous learning. **Nice-to-Have** * Experience with asynchronous messaging (RabbitMQ, SQS or similar); * Basic knowledge of payment methods: PIX, Boleto, TED; * Experience at technology companies with **production-grade products**, especially in critical environments. **What This Role Is NOT** * An entry-level position; * An environment with low technical rigor; * Focused solely on rapid delivery without operational accountability. **Additional Information** * Work model: **100% in-office**; * Location: **Av.
