Job Summary:
Participates in the planning and development of projects, products, and manufacturing processes, applying continuous improvement methodologies and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Highlights:

**Responsibilities:**
1\. Participate in project planning, including schedules, required resources, investments, and performance metrics for tracking work progress (KPIs);
2\. Participate in and support the product development process and its manufacturing processes—from conception through to launch—ensuring adherence to Development Lifecycle phases and their deadlines;
3\. Participate in, support, and—under supervision—develop the implementation of efficient and optimized manufacturing methods, processes, and procedures, applying concepts and methodologies from Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen;
4\. Conduct time-and-motion studies (routings), workflow analyses, cell and line balancing, and factory layout assessments to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities within the project;
5\. Collect and analyze data related to process performance, feedback from internal customers, and results from production tests and tryouts to guide development decisions;
6\. Develop, revise/update technical documentation—including Instruction Sheets (ISs), Technical Data Sheets, and process flowcharts;
7\. Proactively identify and resolve challenges or obstacles arising during product/process development;
8\. Collaborate with product engineering to translate product requirements into technically feasible process solutions, ensuring product manufacturability and proposing design improvements to facilitate production;
9\. Develop and deliver employee training programs to foster a continuous improvement mindset, whenever necessary;
10\. Coordinate process tryouts, along with their adjustments and corrections, to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity requirements of the relevant process;
11\. Evaluate and implement new production technologies, equipment, and tools to continuously improve processes and reduce costs (payback);
12\. Participate in meetings with suppliers and external partners to develop innovative and sustainable manufacturing solutions;
13\. Participate in and contribute to analyses of non-conformities detected on the shop floor or in performance indicators, including respective corrective action plans and effectiveness verification;
14\. Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and applicable norms throughout the entire process development lifecycle;
15\. Support and respond to quality management system audits (internal, customer, and certification body audits);
**Education:**
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
**Requirements:**
Experience in methods and processes;
Knowledge of machining is an advantage;
Preferably reside in Valinhos
Employment Type: Part-time, Internship
Contract Duration: 24 months
Compensation: R$2.000,00 \- R$2.500,00 per month
