Capture or remove animals from the roadway and/or medians using appropriate equipment available in operational vehicles and the Animal Capture Truck, under direct supervision. Contain and extinguish small fire outbreaks under direct guidance, using specialized equipment available in operational vehicles or the Water Tanker Truck. Inspect construction works and services occurring within the right-of-way using operational vehicles and the Construction and Services Manual available in patrol vehicles, under direct supervision. Accompany oversized loads under direct supervision by operating the operational vehicle and reviewing documentation related to such loads. Inspect the company’s right-of-way by patrolling designated highway sections, identifying ongoing construction or general services, billboards or outdoor signage installed therein, requesting presentation of authorization granted by the company for execution of such services and/or works, releasing them if no irregularities are found, or requesting removal or demolition from the responsible party, escalating to the Supervisor to obtain additional support for process completion. Perform or support low-complexity operations, including assisting pedestrians in hazardous positions, addressing fallen signage from active highway construction sites, removing fallen highway signage located in hazardous zones, taking appropriate measures. Verify whether signage for highway construction, improvement, and maintenance complies with company standards, guided by previously received sketches, escalating to superiors to halt work presenting irregularities or operational risks until resolved or new instructions are received from the Operational Control Center (CCO). Detect possible deficiencies in signage (regulatory, indicative, or warning signs) or on the roadway (potholes, damaged barriers, cleanliness, washing), photographing affected locations and forwarding suggestions or information to the CCO, who then engages responsible departments for analysis and operational response. Propose improvements regarding signage, infrastructure, drainage, and roadway safety, submitting proposals for review and validation by the Supervisor. Respond to collisions or minor-impact accidents, collecting information from users/victims, witnesses, and highway police to identify probable causes and accident conditions (e.g., potholes, missing signage, speeding, water or oil on the road, driver under the influence), recording personal data of drivers and passengers, vehicle details (license plate, type, tire condition, damages, etc.), assessing damage to company property (metallic barriers, concrete barriers, signage), and photographing the entire impacted area, involved vehicles, and victims. Provide the CCO with information gathered during responses to minor-impact collisions to integrate into the Traffic Accident Response Report, ensuring that the official police report also includes identical information.
