Wash, cut, and portion fish, vegetables, and other ingredients. Help prepare rice, sauces, and side dishes. Organize and sort orders for the sushi chef. Sanitize utensils, equipment, and work area. Ensure proper food storage, especially refrigerated items. Check ingredient expiration dates and quality. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Follow strict food hygiene and safety standards. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Cooking Assistant, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some of the duties in this position. High school diploma required.
