As Food & Beverage Manager, you hold overall responsibility for the hotel’s food and beverage departments, including Polfareren Restaurant and the lobby bar at Svalbard Hotell Polfareren, as well as breakfast service at Svalbard Hotell The Vault. You will become a key member of the hotel’s leadership team and play an important role in the continued development of our restaurant and lobby bar. The Food & Beverage Manager reports to the Hotel Director. **Your typical workday will include the following tasks and responsibilities:** Overall responsibility for operations, logistics, finance, and quality within the F&B department Further development of the restaurant and lobby bar Personnel management, including recruitment, training, and professional development of the team Budgeting and performance accountability, cost control Ensuring high service quality and guest experience Daily follow-up of routines and operations, including HACCP and HSE Procurement responsibility for the F&B department Actively working to reduce food waste Contributing to a positive work environment **We are looking for someone who:** Has solid experience and leadership experience within F&B Has strong communication skills in English/Norwegian Has excellent collaboration skills Has sound financial understanding Is structured and dedicated Has in-depth knowledge of alcohol Has vocational training or formal education in hotel and restaurant management (an advantage) **We offer:** **Employment percentage:** 100% Favorable tax rate.
