Responsibilities and Duties:
* Technical lead responsible for monitoring the development, integration, and implementation of automation systems applied to road trucks, ensuring proper operation of technological solutions, integration with the mining company’s existing systems, and operational readiness for pilot and assisted operation phases;
* Monitor the development and implementation of vehicle automation systems, including control, sensors, communication, and supervisory systems;
* Evaluate integration among onboard automation, control systems, communication networks, and IT/OT infrastructure;
* Support functional testing, safety testing, commissioning, and operational validation of automated trucks;
* Identify and map technical deviations, proposing adjustments and improvements jointly with suppliers;
* Analyze system reliability and its interaction with operations and maintenance;
* Support change management, including technical training, knowledge transfer, and assistance for assisted operations;
* Ensure compliance with applicable safety, automation, and industrial best practice standards in the mining environment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, with active professional registration;
* Solid experience in industrial automation projects, preferably in mining, logistics, or mobile equipment;
* Knowledge of control systems, industrial networks, sensors, and system integration;
* Experience in commissioning, testing, and start\-up of automated systems;
* Technical and analytical profile with strong ability to interface between technology and operations.
