Financial Controller - Toy Retail São João - Porto Alegre - RS **Employment Type:** CLT or PJ **Salary Range:** BRL 4,500 to BRL 7,500 (depending on candidate profile and employment model) About the Company We are a toy retail company with strong market presence and currently undergoing expansion. We seek a strategic Financial Controller with an analytical mindset and results-oriented focus to structure and consolidate our financial processes and support executive decision-making. Responsibilities Manage financial implementation, governance, and control—including cash flow, income statements (DRE), balance sheet analysis, management reports, and financial KPIs; Perform financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring of cash flow and targets; Propose improvements based on opportunities identified during data collection; Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cost control; Forecast expected revenue for upcoming periods; Develop profit and profitability forecasts for the business; Conduct strategic financial analyses to support executive management and commercial departments; Contribute to internal policies and controls, ensuring adherence to sound financial governance practices; Lead or support implementation of management systems (ERP/financial) and automation initiatives; Implement and monitor departmental performance indicators (KPIs). Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration; Solid experience in financial controller roles, preferably in retail or commerce; Proficiency in financial statement analysis, cash flow management, and budgetary planning; Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI is a plus); Strategic mindset, analytical profile, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate degree in Controllership or Finance; Prior experience in retail or distribution companies; Involvement in financial restructuring or business expansion projects; Familiarity with tax regimes and tax reconciliations.
