Respond to critical situations and assist in patient restraint **About the Opportunity: SECURITY GUARD I \- PROPERTY SECURITY** Responsible for safeguarding property and personal safety of individuals circulating within the Moinhos de Vento Hospital premises, controlling patient and visitor movement, monitoring for potential irregularities per institutional routine, with the objective of maintaining order and safety throughout the hospital complex. **Responsibilities and Duties** **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:** * Monitor individuals entering and moving within the hospital, identifying patients, family members, staff, suppliers, and service providers; adhering to established routines and permitting access only to identified and authorized personnel. * Perform opening and closing procedures for administrative and operational areas of the institution. * Record incidents via system across all areas, following established routine. * Register all newborns discharged from the maternity ward, verifying that discharge is accompanied by nursing staff, ensuring safe release of the newborn after confirming the name of the Nursing Technician and the mother's name. * Prevent external intrusions into institutional premises 24/7 by monitoring foot and vehicle traffic near hospital entrances, conducting patrols, and ensuring order and safety for patients, visitors, and staff. * Provide coverage across all hospital areas, delivering first response in any situation—including incidents, patient restraints, and critical events—and documenting each occurrence in writing. * Release deceased patients from the morgue together with funeral agents, cross-checking legal documentation for body release against the patient’s identification wristband and verifying all information on the Body Release Authorization Form (GALSC). * Provide banking security during internal staff transfers involving substantial monetary values, ensuring secure transportation of funds within the institution. * Support inpatient units in restraining patients at risk of homicide, suicide, or escape by conducting patrols near patient rooms and monitoring the camera control center to ensure safety of hospitalized patients and staff. * Manage helicopter arrivals at the hospital helipad per established routine, ensuring safe patient disembarkation, rapid secure transport to the destination unit, and preventing unauthorized third-party entry into the institution. **Requirements and Qualifications** Education: Completed high school.
