If you meet the requirements below, apply now for our **Mid-Level Java Backend Developer** position—we’d love to meet you! **Responsibilities and duties** * Provide technical and functional support to team members, clarifying questions related to business and technology. * Collaborate proactively and communicate effectively to ensure seamless integration with the team. * Demonstrate initiative in resolving daily tasks and challenges. * Interact with the Architecture team to understand proposed technical and functional solutions. * Perform *System Design*, implement solutions, and develop APIs and microservices. **Requirements and qualifications** * Experience with **Java 8\+**, including in-depth knowledge of the **JVM**, *garbage collection*, *tuning*, and *profiling*. * Hands-on experience with **JUnit** and unit testing. * Proficiency with **Gradle**, **Git**, and **Docker**. * Experience with relational and non-relational databases, preferably **MongoDB**, **Postgres**, and **Oracle**. * Knowledge of messaging tools such as **Kafka** or **RabbitMQ**. * Experience with **continuous integration** and **continuous deployment pipelines** (CI/CD). * Practical experience with **Spring Boot** and **Spring Framework**. * Mastery of design patterns, **SOLID** principles, **Clean Code**, and architectures such as **hexagonal architecture**, **clean architecture**, or distributed services. * Experience developing and maintaining **REST APIs**, adhering to best practices in design, versioning, authentication, and resilience. * Familiarity with integrations with external systems via **FTP**, **SFTP**, **HTTP**, **SOAP**, and *legacy* solutions. **Preferred qualifications:** * Knowledge of **Kubernetes**. * Experience with observability and APM tools such as **Datadog**, **Grafana**, **Graylog**, or **Elasticsearch**. * Understanding of Java application security, including **OWASP**, injection prevention, use of *security headers*, robust authentication, **OAuth2**, and **Keycloak**. * Experience with *caching* mechanisms (e.g., **Redis**). * Experience with load, performance, and latency testing. **Additional information** * Work model: Hybrid (On-site\\Remote) * Willingness to work in **Eldorado do Sul/RS** * On-site cafeteria; * TotalPass (via cooperative); * Health & Dental Plan (via cooperative); * Chartered transportation; * Exclusive discounts at Panvel; Caring is at our core.
