Job Summary: A professional responsible for supporting hospital pharmacy activities, ensuring appropriate medication management and contributing to patient safety. Key Highlights: 1. Contribution to patient safety and well-being Responsible for supporting the hospital pharmacy’s activities, ensuring appropriate management of medications and supplies. Providing effective support for hospital pharmacy operations, contributing to patient safety and well-being through appropriate management of medications and pharmaceutical products. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Restock shelves with supplies to ensure prompt and continuous service. * Monitor and verify expiration dates of multidose bottles and ampoules. * Assist in inventory control. * Process medical prescriptions for inpatient units and Emergency Department. * Assist in preparing reports and orders as required by the pharmacist. * Assist in conducting inventories. * Support the pharmacist and nursing team. * Label medications and supplies. * Record incoming and outgoing materials/medications in the system. * Interpret medical prescriptions and prescriptions. * Monitor expiration dates of supplies. * Assemble kits for use across all hospital services and departments. * Organize the pharmacy, maintaining a tidy environment. * Provide assistance in all pharmacy-related activities assigned by the pharmacist. * Daily recording of refrigerator temperatures used for storing medications. * Unit-dose packaging of tablets, including identification. Maintain cleanliness of shelves, counters, and other work areas to keep them in good working condition. * **Requirements and Qualifications** * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Customer service proficiency. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Proficiency in computer applications, including systems and Office suite. * Completed High School education. * Prior experience in hospital pharmacy is a plus.
