Identify and prospect opportunities in the supplier market A chemical manufacturing company located in Porto Alegre is seeking a Procurement Coordinator / Manager. Desired Profile: * Fluent English * Completed university degree * Full capability to negotiate with foreign suppliers * Understanding of the systems and standards characteristic of the international market * Strong ability to interpret the company’s and the broader market’s economic and seasonal trends for greater accuracy in procurement direction * Strategic thinking * Ability to organize and structure the international procurement function * International living experience is a plus Main Responsibilities: * Based on internal demand understanding, ensure fulfillment of internal requirements for direct material procurement, always pursuing the best cost-benefit ratio (price; delivery time; product and service quality) * Draft and propose procurement directives for internal discussion covering the budget period * Prepare procurement budgets for annual budget construction * Conduct negotiations across the categories in which the company operates * Identify opportunities with suppliers and internal customers through process improvements, specifications, and new technologies * Prospect the supplier market, staying updated on trends to enhance the company’s competitiveness by offering higher-quality options at more attractive prices Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent CLT Compensation: R$10.000,00 - R$13.000,00 per month Benefits: * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Work Location: On-site
