Interpret production orders, technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints; identify tools and adjust measurements. Operate equipment related to the process. Change cutting tools. Inspect and finish machined parts, removing burrs if present. Conduct part inspections. Record production output. Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment under one's responsibility. Assist in setup preparation. Verify product conformity using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Milling Machine Operator, Lathe Operator, or Equipment Operator may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. Technical degree required.
