Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, make decisions, and take initiative **About the Role:** The **Security Guard** is responsible for controlling the entry of people and vehicles on the premises, preventing incidents, identifying risks, and implementing preventive measures to ensure security. Their challenge is to guarantee a safe environment by responding effectively to emergencies and promoting a culture of security with professionalism and integrity. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct patrols within the company premises, surrounding areas, and adjacent access routes, identifying any suspicious movement and taking appropriate actions according to company regulations; * Inspect the company premises to prevent fires, thefts, and control the flow of people and vehicles entering and exiting; * Safeguard the lives and property of individuals and the Institution; * Carry out duties with courtesy, integrity, and diligence, respecting fundamental individual and collective rights and guarantees while performing their functions; * Report any incidents occurring during service, as well as any irregularities related to equipment used, to their immediate supervisor; * Provide first aid and escort services for people, valuables, and assets; * Demonstrate ability to work in a team; * Possess strong communication skills; * Exhibit decision-making ability and initiative; * Uphold honesty and responsibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Certified Security Guard training course with up-to-date refresher training; * Experience in private security. * Driver's license Class A is a plus. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** * Friday to Tuesday, from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM; * Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Childcare reimbursement for children up to 4 years old; * Education assistance covering up to 80% of undergraduate tuition fees and up to 50% of postgraduate tuition fees; * Free parking; * Complementary private pension plan; * Year-end recess. *If you believe in meaningful work that creates value and has a positive impact on society and the University,* ***JOIN PUCRS!*** At PUCRS, we believe every person can transform the world—and that belief drives us daily to become everything we can be.
