Job Summary: Casting operator responsible for operating casting machines and furnaces, cleaning residues, and assisting in mold changes, in compliance with safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Operate casting machines and furnaces 2. Assist in mold change and production recordkeeping 3. Ensure equipment safety and maintenance **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Operate casting machines by installing pistons, bushings, and screws using appropriate tools; preheat molds; feed the injection channel with a ladle according to prior specifications. Operate casting furnaces by charging them with aluminum for producing raw materials used in manufacturing. Clean casting furnaces using appropriate consumables to remove residues. Assist in mold changes. Charge casting furnaces with aluminum bars, channels, and scrap to meet production or ingot-casting requirements. Record daily production in designated forms and/or software for supervisory control. Maintain company uniforms and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
