This role partners with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and external vendors to manage the full payroll lifecycle, legal and union obligations, eSocial reporting, and to drive continuous improvements in controls, data quality, and employee experience. **Role Summary** * End-to-End Payroll Processing (Brazil): Validate payroll inputs (hires, terminations, transfers, salary adjustments, leaves of absence, variable compensation, benefits), execute pre- and post-calculations, reconcile results, and process salary payments, 13th-month salaries, vacation payouts, and severance payments. * Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with CLT, INSS, FGTS, IRRF, CSRF, eSocial, and municipal/state tax requirements; reconcile and deliver periodic obligations; respond to audits and official notifications. * Union Management \& CCT/ACT: Interpret and implement rules defined in collective bargaining agreements and conventions; manage related calculations and deductions. * Controls \& Reconciliations: Maintain robust controls, including payroll accounting reconciliations, variance analyses, retroactive calculations, and audit trails; support SOX, internal/external audits, and financial reporting processes where applicable. * Vendor Management: Oversee payroll vendors, manage SLAs, HR tickets, and change requests; validate calculations and legal obligations performed by partners. * Employee Support: Resolve payroll inquiries with empathy and accuracy; document solutions and FAQs; guide managers and HR support teams on policies and payroll closing deadlines. * Reporting \& Analytics: Prepare headcount, payroll cost, KPI, and compliance dashboard reports; support Finance in monthly close and budget planning. * Process Improvement: Lead and support automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives; update SOPs and training materials. * Projects: Support M\&A integrations, system implementations (e.g., eSocial events, payroll upgrades, global platform rollouts), and regulatory changes such as union wage adjustments, bonus calculations, and annual/13th-month payroll cycles.
