At **Datacom**, we seek a technical, analytical, and curious individual who wants to work directly in the **SMT assembly process**, contributing to the efficiency, quality, and evolution of our products. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Program, adjust, and optimize SMT process equipment (**Pick-and-Place**, **SPI**, **AOI**, and **Reflow Oven**) * Perform **line balancing**, chronometric analysis, and time-and-motion studies * Address bottlenecks, reduce setup times (**SMED**), and improve key metrics such as **UPH**, **OEE**, **FPY**, and **Downtime** * Analyze CAD, BOM, Gerber, and centroid files for program generation and adjustments * Develop and standardize assembly methods, workflows, and instructions * Analyze process failures (soldering defects, tombstoning, polarity errors, misplacements, etc.) and propose corrective action plans * Provide technical support to production lines, product engineering, and quality assurance * Participate in ramp-up, line transfer, qualification activities, and continuous improvement projects * Explore new technologies and solutions for the SMT manufacturing process **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Experience programming SMT machines * Experience with line balancing and chronometric analysis * Knowledge of soldering processes and thermal profiling * Ability to read and interpret CAD, BOM, Gerber, and centroid files * Experience in the electro-electronic industry **Desirable:** * Knowledge of **Lean Manufacturing**, **SMED**, **VSM**, **SPC** * Experience with high-complexity components (**BGA**, **QFN**) * Advanced Excel, Power BI, or Minitab * Knowledge of **IPC-A-610** **Education** ------------ * Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields * **or** * Undergraduate degree (Technology or Engineering) in progress (Production, Electronics, Mechatronics) **Additional Information** **ON-SITE POSITION** ------------------- **Why Join Datacom?** ------------------------------- Here, you’ll work in a **technological, challenging, and collaborative environment**, with real opportunities for learning, technical exchange, and professional growth.
