The Legion of Good Will – LBV is hiring an **Apprenticeship Instructor:** The **social instructor/educator** is directly responsible for working with apprentices, overseeing the planning and implementation of socioeducational activities in accordance with the established curriculum, and providing support to ensure apprentices’ continued participation in the world of work and progressive acquisition of skills. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan and implement socioeducational activities aligned with the established curriculum, working directly with apprentices to provide support, guidance, and performance evaluation for their development and training; * Uphold ethical and pedagogical principles, fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment that encourages values such as autonomy, responsibility, solidarity, and citizenship among apprentices, contributing to their comprehensive development as individuals and professionals. * Provide resources and tools to facilitate apprentices’ entry into and retention within the world of work; * Adapt activities according to apprentices’ individual needs and characteristics, promoting inclusion and comprehensive development; * Assess apprentices’ progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and development opportunities. * Establish relationships of trust and respect with apprentices, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment; * Contribute to the identification and planning of, and actively engage in, family-focused initiatives and the Socio-Learning Encounter in Action; * Record apprentices’ attendance and absences in both the Social System and the physical register maintained at the Unit; * Report to the reference team any situations identified during theoretical activities—whether vulnerabilities or performance issues—that may impact the full development of adolescents/young people enrolled in the program, thereby collaborating with other professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to apprentices’ development; * Document incidents involving adolescents/young people in the designated form and submit it to the Pedagogue; likewise, implement agreed-upon strategies—in collaboration with the Reference Team—during case studies; * Prepare individual descriptive reports and, together with the Reference Team, develop semesterly and annual plans, as well as contribute to drafting Activity Reports and Action Plans for councils. **Requirements and Qualifications** Education: **Completed undergraduate degree—preferably in humanities fields.** Knowledge: * Solid understanding of pedagogical theories and social education practices, including learner-centered educational approaches, autonomy-based pedagogy, and education for work; * Familiarity with the established curriculum for socioeducational activities, including comprehension of objectives, methodologies, and topics to be addressed; * Understanding of laws and regulations governing apprenticeship programs, labor rights, and employer responsibilities, in accordance with specific apprenticeship legislation; * Knowledge of professional development strategies, socioemotional skills, and workplace preparation aimed at apprentices’ training and integration into the workforce; * Familiarity with diverse teaching and learning methodologies adaptable to apprentices’ individual needs and characteristics, promoting inclusive and participatory education; Proficiency in and ability to apply concepts of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) **Additional Information** * Workload: **200 hours per month** * Schedule: Morning or Afternoon shifts * Monday to Friday **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * On-site meals; * Life insurance; * Health plan; * Dental plan; * SESC membership; * Discounts at gyms and sports facilities (Wellhub); * Educational partnerships offering discounts on courses and universities; * Training and capacity-building program.
