If you identify with our purpose, shall we together imagine a future—and engineer it? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:** Promote industrial reliability processes by developing and implementing engineering technical solutions for equipment and systems in the petrochemical industry, applying established methodologies, using technical documentation, internal procedures, safety standards, and current legislation—aiming at personnel and process safety, optimized costs, improved quality, and higher asset availability and integrity, aligned with agreed-upon goals. **Detailed Description:** Proactively participate in reliability process activities (meetings, committees, etc.), ensuring discipline in conducting such activities—including detailed preparation and close coordination with interface personnel—to guarantee implementation of agreed action plans, as well as maintaining full data availability for performance indicators aligned with established governance; * Develop and implement reliability strategies, primarily—but not limited to—rotating mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, hydraulic systems, etc.) within their respective systems, promoting multidisciplinary and collaborative execution strongly oriented toward results; * Conduct and facilitate failure analyses (RCA – Root Cause Analysis) and propose corrective/preventive actions, ensuring proper application of this methodology across existing systems; * Support development of maintenance practices and plans based on criticality, RCA history, and Bad Actors, using structured approaches and risk analyses (FMEA/RCM, etc.); * Monitor and critically analyze reliability indicators (losses, gaps, Bad Actors, MTBF, MTTR, availability, maintenance cost, safety, etc.); * Understand and support condition-based maintenance approaches (vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, oil analysis); * Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects and asset efficiency enhancement initiatives—including engineering studies, new projects, and equipment and system modifications; * Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, safety standards, and regulations. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Experience with rotating equipment; * Failure analysis (FMEA, RCA, Weibull); * Reliability tools (RAM, RCM); * API, ASME, ISO standards related to mechanical equipment; * Familiarity with reliability analysis and maintenance management software (SAP PM, CMMS, etc.); * Technical English—reading and interpretation (desirable). **You Stand Out If You Have:** * Certifications in maintenance and reliability; * English—developed verbal and written communication skills; * Proactivity; * Teamwork, strong collaboration, and communication skills. **Additional Information** **Position Characteristics:** * Employment Type: Regular Office * Work Location: Duque de Caxias/RJ * Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM **Benefits Included in This Position:** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance * Gympass Partnership Educational institution discounts and partnerships * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more so, in the ability to turn them into reality.
