Organizational and planning ability **BM Vagas is seeking a Construction Engineer in Dourados – MS** Responsibilities: The construction supervisor in the industrial sector is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and monitoring all phases of on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with project designs, technical standards, and company quality requirements. This includes organizing work fronts, assigning tasks to team members, controlling material and equipment usage, and ensuring activities are conducted efficiently and safely. The supervisor must also guide their team, correct deviations, train staff on best practices, continuously verify service quality, and promptly report any needs, issues, or non-conformities to supervision. Additionally, they must monitor adherence to the project schedule, maintain an organized worksite, ensure compliance with safety regulations—including proper use of PPE—and intervene immediately whenever hazards arise. The supervisor serves as the liaison between operational staff and project management, participating in meetings, providing up-to-date progress reports, and documenting all necessary data in daily reports, quantity surveys, and other project documentation. Requirements: Candidates must be proactive professionals capable of independently solving problems and making sound decisions in day-to-day construction operations. They must also willingly assume responsibilities inherent to the role, demonstrating firmness and commitment without avoiding leadership or direct oversight situations.
