Ensure implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and safety. **About the Role** We are seeking a **Production Manager** to oversee unit operations, ensuring results, quality, and on-time delivery. The role is responsible for managing production KPIs and strategic engagement on the shop floor. The incumbent will manage teams, schedules, and performance, promoting development and continuous improvement. They will ensure compliance with safety regulations, IMS standards, and a safe working environment. They will interface with the Superintendency and Customer Management to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** * Manage unit production operations, engaging directly on the shop floor to ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, operational efficiency, and company policies and targets. * Manage the unit’s operational performance in partnership with the Superintendency, overseeing budget management, cost control, KPI analysis, and implementation of continuous improvements. * Guarantee customer service levels by collaborating with Customer Management to address demands, meet SLAs, and maintain customer satisfaction. * Plan production based on weekly volume forecasts, capacity balancing, and optimization of operational resources. * Define, monitor, and review strategic production indicators (productivity, volumes, forecast, costs, and budget), leading action plans to address deviations. * Manage people and operational team performance—including direct leadership—delivering structured feedback, development initiatives, and strengthening a results-oriented culture. * Ensure implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS), promoting ongoing training, process standardization, and operational compliance. * Lead the unit’s safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, participation in daily safety talks (DDS), proper use of PPE, and accident prevention. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering. * Proven experience in people management, including leadership development, performance monitoring, and leading operational teams. * Strong analytical capability, with expertise in operational data analysis, KPI interpretation, and critical reading of charts for decision-making. * Advanced Excel skills (manipulating databases, pivot tables, comparative analyses, and building management reports). * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma certification. * Advanced English for communication with international teams. **Preferred Qualifications** * Postgraduate degree in Production Management, Maintenance, or Human Resources. * Demonstrated experience managing production processes or production support areas (Logistics or Maintenance), with a proven track record of improving KPIs and results. * Familiarity with safety guidelines (NR-1) applied to daily operations.
