Posting Date: Mar 19, 2026 Location: Rio Grande, RS, BR Knowledge Area: Production and Operations Job Type: Temporary Work Modality: On-site Job Requisition ID: 24394 **Operations Assistant \- Fixed-Term Position** ============================================== At Yara, we are part of a global network, collaborating to solve some of the world's most critical challenges — resource scarcity, food insecurity, and environmental change — in a profitable and responsible way. **Apply by** -------------------- 03/26/2026 **Position Description \| Responsibilities** --------------------------------------------- * Perform cleaning at manufacturing units, support areas, and access points to units, in accordance with planned standards for safety, quality, environment, productivity, legal requirements, and management systems; * Collect samples, handle products, and perform various operational and basic tasks as required by supervision, peers, and operational procedures; * Identify and correct potential deviations within units, interacting with operators or other internal customers; * Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and correct use of equipment, subsystems, tools, and the work environment; * Maintain housekeeping of the area, participating both in planning and execution of activities; * Actively participate in unit scheduling and performance meetings; * Follow production, cleaning, and maintenance plans for units, as well as apply management tools implemented at the unit; * Issue, release, and control work permits for activities in your area, per alignment with your supervisor. * Conduct area and tool inspections to mitigate safety risks during working hours; * Assist in cleaning areas, floors, and machinery following defined procedures and standards to maintain safe circulation paths, ensure proper equipment operation, and reduce potential product quality deviations. * Ensure appropriate use of tools, maintenance, organization, and implementation of 5S in work areas. **Profile \| Education and Knowledge** -------------------------------------- * Collaborative spirit, initiative, curiosity, ownership mindset, and respect for diversity. * Completed high school education; * Basic SAP knowledge; * Prior experience in this or a similar field is desirable. **Additional Information** -------------------------- Availability for shift work. **Contact Information** -------------------------- People & Culture **Knowledge Cultivated Through Diversity** Yara is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and takes pride in being an equal-opportunity employer.
