This position will be responsible for coordinating the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric power plants owned by AUREN ENERGIA, ensuring optimized resource use, mitigation of operational risks, and a positive work environment. Manage O&M technical teams, ensuring compliance with internal processes and requirements from regulatory bodies as well as audit committees (internal and external). Manage the O&M budget for activities necessary for the proper functioning of the plants and fulfillment of multi-year OPEX and CAPEX plans. Optimize plant performance with efficiency, quality, safety, sustainability, and respect for individuals. **Responsibilities and duties** * Coordinate execution, using technological, human, and material resources, of local operations and maintenance and support activities at remotely assisted plants when required. All performed according to asset management excellence standards, network procedures, notices, and operational instructions required by the company and regulatory agencies. * Coordinate execution and/or guide, when necessary, local lock operations by implementing operational measures requested by the real-time team, combined with technological resources, according to organizational procedures and requirements from the São Paulo State Waterway Department, Brazilian Navy, and Concession Agreement. * Coordinate and/or guide, when necessary, execution—through interaction between the real-time operations team and the operations, maintenance, and planning teams—of equipment status adjustments, scheduled maneuvers, urgent or emergency actions, for themselves or others, aiming for equipment release and reception in compliance with operational procedures, instructions, and other management systems. * Coordinate and/or guide restoration of facilities in contingency scenarios such as blackouts, high reservoir inflows, and non-routine situations, through implementation of operational measures, team training, and real or simulated restoration tests. Thus ensuring safety of personnel, surrounding communities, the facilities themselves, and reliability of the national power system. * Coordinate, together with other company areas, planning and execution of current and long-term resource budgets, ensuring that operations and projects under their coordination have the necessary resources for implementation, execution, and continuity of operational processes. * Coordinate with relevant departments and implement for plant operators and maintenance staff an annual training program, including emergent or specific trainings, and operator certification, contributing to personal and professional development of team members and ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce ready to face technological challenges and organizational growth. * Collaborate and contribute, through interaction with other areas, in multidisciplinary team activities so that processes can be analyzed, improved, and/or simplified to optimize resource utilization and achieve operational excellence. * Participate in and/or delegate personnel to attend meetings and forums of interest to the plants/facilities and the organization within the operational scope, to disseminate and/or capture information or demands that may affect or enhance the organization's competitiveness. * Coordinate and/or delegate tasks to the operations team to maintain operational processes flowing properly, in accordance with regulatory standards, meeting requirements of the power system, safety and environmental regulations, providing necessary resources for effective and active control of plant operational processes. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering – mandatory; * Experience in O&M management of hydroelectric power plants.
