Work under pharmaceutical supervision and compliance with regulations **General Job Description:** The Pharmacy Sales Assistant/Cashier is responsible for providing direct customer service at the store counter, selling medications and related products under technical supervision, organizing the workplace, restocking merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness and upkeep. Works under the guidance of the responsible pharmacist, ensuring compliance with sanitary regulations and internal procedures. Base salary \+ Bonuses/Commission **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Serve customers in person at the counter with courtesy and attention, provide basic product information, and conduct sales in accordance with company guidelines; * Execute active promotional campaigns at the point of sale, following leadership and marketing department instructions; * Store medications and related products appropriately after system registration, respecting expiration dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions; * Restock products on shelves and racks, maintaining organization and product visibility; * Perform cleaning and maintenance of assigned sections, customer service areas, kitchen, and other store premises, as scheduled or required; * Assist with store opening and closing processes, adhering to prescribed operational procedures; * Identify and segregate expired or near-expiry medications, reporting them to responsible personnel for appropriate action; * Inform customers about discount programs, benefits, and special purchasing terms; * Promptly report any workplace anomalies—such as system failures, equipment malfunctions, lighting issues, or structural problems—to responsible personnel; * Keep shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly labeled with correct pricing and organized by category; * Work under the direct supervision of the responsible pharmacist and/or manager, ensuring that controlled-substance medications are verified prior to sale per current sanitary legislation.
