




Job Summary: The Laboratory Assistant - Screening I assists in the screening of materials by performing verification, identification, and separation for analysis, ensuring quality and efficiency of activities under supervision. The Laboratory Assistant \- Screening I assists in the material screening process, following procedures and technical standards. Performs verification, identification, and separation of materials for analysis, contributing to the smooth operation of the laboratory. This professional works under supervision, ensuring quality and efficiency of performed activities. * Register and scan examinations in the CIAP Laboratory's computerized system; * Forward pending items related to health insurance requirements to the Billing Department; * Resolve pending items related to health insurance requirements, including examination authorizations when necessary; * Request examination authorizations when necessary; * Forward receipts and invoices for private examinations, along with control notebooks, to the Finance Department; * Collect, receive, and verify materials and data from medical orders daily for all cytological, anatomopathological, immunohistochemical, in situ hybridization, and HPV genotyping by PCR examinations; * Forward biological materials to responsible departments (macroscopy and cytology technique); * Print examination reports for delivery to each respective origin; * Perform other tasks related to the position, as determined by the supervisor.
