Job Summary:
This Occupational Safety Technician student will support the implementation of occupational programs, work permit management, and EHS communication development.
Key Highlights:
1. Support in implementing occupational programs and occupational safety.
2. Support in managing work permits and statistical analysis.
3. Engagement in EHS communication and development of preventive actions.
* Support the occupational safety technician in implementing occupational programs: PGR (Risk Management Program), PCMSO (Occupational Health Surveillance Program), Annual Report, PPR (Respiratory Protection Program), PCA (Hearing Conservation Program);
* Provide support in organizing and analyzing work permits for high-risk services, generating statistical control charts;
* Support NR23 – Emergency Systems management: monitor equipment verification visits, receive reports, list findings, and maintain the CAPA spreadsheet up to date;
* Support EHS communication development: participate in campaigns, seminars, EHS alerts, and keep bulletin boards updated;
* Attend CIPA meetings and related programs, and support action development, including SIPATMA;
* Support onboarding training (new employees, contractors) and training on internal procedures and standards;
* Assist in identifying accident hazards;
* Support analysis and management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS);
* Draft technical documents, such as reports, risk maps, and risk analyses;
* Support third-party management: evaluate and organize third-party documentation per internal procedure.
