Job Summary: The CAD Designer will create technical drawings for civil engineering projects, interpreting specifications and using advanced software, as well as assisting in cost planning. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications provided by engineers. Produce topographic maps. Use SLAM point cloud processing software. Work with Lidar drones and drafting software (e.g., Riscam Pro, Cloud Compare, Agisoft Metashape, AutoCAD, CHC Copre, among others). Conduct drawing reviews and verifications. Detail project sections, views, and perspectives, as well as field-executed point clouds. Perform data download and processing routines from surveying equipment. Issue topographic reports and other technical documents/pieces under the supervision of the technical section leader or contract manager. Assist in cost planning activities for travel and equipment.
