Regarded as the largest open-air museum in Latin America, the Inhotim Institute — Botanical Garden and Museum of Contemporary Art — is seeking a **Bilingual Educator** to join its team and work within the **Education and Territory Program**. Located in Brumadinho (MG) since 2006, Inhotim is a nonprofit organization funded by ticket sales, event hosting, and donations from individuals and legal entities — either directly or through the Federal and State Cultural Incentive Laws. Within this context, the **Education and Territory Program** develops initiatives targeting various audiences, engaging daily with public and private education networks across Minas Gerais, universities, residents of Brumadinho, and the museum’s daily visitors. Educational actions and programming emphasize creation, experimentation, and continuous professional development, encouraging youth and adults to take initiative and build knowledge around the relationships between **contemporary art and nature**. Recognizing the power of knowing, being, living, and acting within society underpins its strategies. **Responsibilities and Duties** **The selected candidate will be responsible for:** **Implementation of Education and Territory Projects**: * Implement education and audience development projects aimed at engagement, participation, relationship-building, integration, inclusion, and formation of Inhotim’s diverse audiences; * Plan and conduct inclusive educational visits; * Plan and implement activities for all museum audiences; * Research and develop mediation materials, tools, and strategies tailored to different museum audiences; * Conduct research to support education and audience development project activities. **Departmental Processes**: * Participate in Inhotim’s education and audience development projects to promote accessibility, democratization, and outreach in alignment with departmental guidelines; * Propose activities consistent with the scope and objectives of projects within their assigned thematic axis; * Provide leadership with information and data to monitor project progress; * Conduct research to address needs received and/or identified during project implementation; * Conduct visits for different institutional audiences according to departmental planning; * Participate in professional development processes as planned by the department. **Institutional Participation**: * Represent the institution regarding the management of projects within their assigned thematic axis; * Contribute to institutional governance and monitoring of key performance indicators. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Candidate Profile**: * Completed undergraduate degree in Arts, Art History, Natural Sciences, Education, Museology, Philosophy, History, or related fields; * Prior experience in education/cultural mediation (e.g., museums, cultural centers, botanical gardens) is desirable; * Knowledge of or interest in art and nature, and contemporary education issues; * Basic understanding of accessibility in cultural spaces; * Proficiency in a second language is required; * Excellent interpersonal skills. **Additional Information** **About the Position**: * CLT employment regime; * Health insurance, dental plan, chartered transportation, commuter allowance, on-site meals, Culture Voucher (Vale Cultura), Wellhub membership, and life insurance; * **Availability to work on weekends and holidays.** #### **Inhotim** Inhotim is a Museum of Contemporary Art and Botanical Garden located in Brumadinho (MG) since 2006\.
