Perform mechanical maintenance on agricultural machinery, ranging from analysis of service orders to driving light vehicles. Stand out in the location and sensitive, preventive, and corrective diagnosis of faults, disassembly and assembly of components, and execution of adjustments on brakes, hubs, transmissions, engines, clutches, as well as interventions in precision mechanics. Demonstrate skills in solving problems at different levels of complexity, using diagnostic tools and software, assessing cost/benefit, and recording materials used. Contribute to operational excellence by organizing tools, performing cleaning, and properly disposing of materials, promoting efficiency and ensuring internal customer satisfaction. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Examine service orders to perform necessary mechanical maintenance, identifying and correcting faults in agricultural machinery and implements. * Locate and diagnose mechanical faults at various complexity levels, using diagnostic software, examining operation or directly inspecting faulty parts, aiming to provide proper recovery. * Disassemble partially or completely components to be repaired, following equipment specifications, using appropriate tools to fix or replace defective parts. * Assemble repaired components, adjusting parts with specific instruments to return machines to ideal operating conditions. * Execute and follow preventive and corrective lubrication programs for agricultural machinery and implements whenever necessary, based on manufacturer specifications and operational conditions. * Perform wheel alignment and tire calibration when necessary to prevent premature tire wear. * Apply different types of lubricants, oils, and greases whenever necessary, using appropriate methods to ensure correct lubrication of moving parts and components. * Conduct visual and tactile inspections to identify wear, leaks, or signs of equipment issues whenever necessary, reporting to the maintenance department when needed. * Perform welding on metal parts when required, using appropriate techniques such as MIG, TIG, or shielded metal arc welding, ensuring necessary adhesion and strength. * Investigate and diagnose problems, proposing solutions and making corrections on vehicles, agricultural and heavy machinery, demonstrating skills in both simple and complex services. * Perform intermediate adjustments on brakes, hubs, transmissions, engines, and clutches related to heavy-duty mechanics, as well as fine adjustments in precision mechanics and complex components. * Operate light vehicles (trucks, small cars) as needed, following traffic rules for transporting people, materials, and/or performing services along designated routes. * Verify work results, ensuring that vehicles and machinery are in ideal operating condition. * Assess cost/benefit of services to be performed, analyzing internal resources, deadlines, and specialized knowledge, referring to outsourced maintenance if necessary. * Record materials used during services and forward them to the immediate supervisor to arrange purchases, avoiding delays and service interruptions. * Carry out cleaning and organization of tools and parts used, as well as proper disposal of materials and waste generated during service execution. * Conduct basic technical training for new employees and redistribute tasks among other mechanics, considering task complexity. * Actively participate in the Rural Occupational Accident Prevention Week (SIPATR), in compliance with regulatory standards applicable to the agricultural sector. * Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to sector activities. * Collaborate with other field team members and follow instructions from the immediate supervisor to ensure efficiency and quality of Hervalense operations. * Perform other related duties as requested by superiors. * Safeguard company assets, preserving equipment, furniture, and other resources provided by Hervalense.
