You will work in a dynamic environment leveraging cutting-edge technology, applying engineering best practices, AI models, and continuous learning—all to democratize e-commerce and financial services across Latin America. **Imagine yourself undertaking projects and being responsible for:** * Participating in architecture definition and identifying key issues—such as technical, process, or functional dependencies—with other initiative teams. * Helping define processes, methodologies, standards, and workflows that contribute to development excellence. * Applying best practices to ensure result quality and application health and security within the initiative. * Participating in all phases (design, planning, and development) of high-impact products—analyzing requirements and proposing solutions that add value to both technical and business areas. * Frequently communicating with and supporting users to identify their needs and potential process improvements, and assisting with tool usage (JIRA). **What we’re looking for in you:** * Experience in backend development using Java or Kotlin, application architecture, and databases (relational or non-relational), such as MySQL, BigQuery, etc. Experience using and developing metrics with Datadog, microservice-based architectures, REST APIs, and asynchronous messaging. * Experience using tools including Git, Datadog, Kibana, New Relic, Opsgenie, and Jira. * Knowledge of experimentation and testing.
