





As a **Senior** **Software Engineer** at Mercado Livre, you will design and scale innovative and secure systems that solve real, high-impact problems. Design, implement, maintain, and improve highly complex Fury services (such as BigQueue, KVS, OS, DS, Streams, etc.) so they can be used as foundational services by all applications in the Meli ecosystem. * Actively participating in creating new services arising from analysis of business unit needs or technological advancements, as well as in organizing, defining, and prioritizing the team's backlog and roadmap. * Focusing on component reuse, task automation, development of support tools (e.g., CLIs), etc. * Listening to development teams (e.g., handling support tickets, surveys, and presentations) to understand their needs and improve developer experience, then addressing those needs through service development with strong emphasis on usability and documentation. **What we look for in you?** * Experience in Backend development using languages such as: Java, Go, NodeJS, REST APIs, Git, New Relic, Elastic, among others. * Knowledge of cloud-based services. * Understanding of concurrent programming and high throughput. * Availability to perform deployment, maintenance, or support tasks during nighttime hours. **Are you excited about making your mark on Latin America's technology landscape?** Apply now and join our mission!
