Your role will be to lead and support the stable operation of PCS assets. This position is designed to implement asset management processes, build a team, and develop support tools for instrumentation and process control systems. Reporting to the Manager Asset & Project, your key responsibilities will include: * Implement asset management processes and support tools across various PCS asset management streams. * Identify improvement opportunities within PCS asset management systems and processes by gathering stakeholder feedback. * Manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all process control systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation. * Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for PCS equipment. * Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. * Manage PCS documentation, including schematics, specifications, and procedures. * Collaborate with Business Units and Sites to sustain and integrate PCS asset management systems and processes. * Lead, coach, mentor, and train to build capabilities within Sites and Business Units. * Stay updated on technological advancements and implement relevant training programs. **Your Qualifications:** * Hold an engineering degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field; * Minimum of 8 years of experience in a process control environment, preferably in the mining or mineral processing industry, with at least 4 years of proven experience managing and leading technical teams. * Strong experience in coaching and change management; * Solid knowledge of industrial programmable logic controller (PLC) programming in IEC languages on Rockwell and Allen Bradley systems, and good command of SCADA design and programming; * Solid expertise in control system design; * In-depth knowledge of process measurement and control instruments, as well as strong understanding of network system design and implementation; * Familiarity with international standards in control and automation; * Strong project management and risk management skills, with excellent ability to optimize resources; * Good understanding of budgetary and financial principles, and experience in auditing and governance; * Fluent in both French and English **What We Offer** * A work environment where safety is always the top priority. * Ongoing access to family-friendly health and medical programs, pension plans, and savings plans. * Leave for all of life’s reasons (vacation/annual, paid parental, sick leave) Internal Job Posting **About QMM** QIT Madagascar Minerals (QMM) is a global leader in heavy mineral sands mining and the largest mineral sands mine in Madagascar.
