Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing splices, fusions, and tests on optical fiber networks, ensuring service integrity in aerial environments. Key Highlights: 1. Implementation and maintenance of optical fiber networks 2. Work with aerial networks BBN and FTTX/HFC 3. Interpretation of project documentation and use of measurement equipment Responsibilities: * Perform splices and fusions on passive components and conduct fiber/HFC testing to ensure the integrity of executed services. Understand all processes related to aerial network environments. * Conduct tests to ensure the integrity of executed services, demonstrating full proficiency in interpreting project documentation and operating measurement equipment—such as OTDRs and power meters—used for diagnostics and monitoring in TX environments. * Implement and maintain optical fiber networks in aerial environments (fused and connectorized), under BBN and FTTX/HFC topologies.
