Job Summary: Professional responsible for performing splices, fusions, and tests on passive fiber/HFC components, working on the installation and maintenance of aerial networks. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and maintenance of optical fiber in aerial networks 2. Performing splices, fusions, and tests on fiber/HFC networks 3. Interpreting project drawings and using measurement equipment Responsibilities: * Perform splices and fusions on passive components and conduct fiber/HFC tests to ensure service integrity. Understand all processes related to aerial network environments. * Conduct tests to ensure service integrity, with full proficiency in interpreting project drawings and operating measurement equipment such as OTDR, power meter, among others, for diagnostics and monitoring in TX environments. * Participate in the installation and maintenance of optical fiber in aerial networks (fusion-spliced and connectorized), under BBN and FTTX/HFC topologies.
