Interface with various departments for approvals and alignment Job Description: **Talented people make Schneider Electric a great company!** We are seeking a Proposal Engineer responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for automation, protection, and power control systems. **Responsibilities:*** Analyze customer specifications to prepare and consolidate proposals, calculate costs, negotiate with subcontractors, analyze cash flow, assess project-related risks and opportunities, and consolidate macro schedules; * Analyze alternative solutions to optimize technical and commercial aspects while meeting customer needs; * Support the sales team in defining commercial strategy; * Interface with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering and Project Management, Procurement, Controlling, and Tax departments; * Request internal proposal approvals from key stakeholders in accordance with company guidelines and processes; * Lead technical and commercial meetings with customers and conduct site visits to prepare proposals; * Update opportunities in our opportunity management platform; * Transfer projects to the execution team after closing the sale. (External) Brazilian Portuguese Qualifications: **Requirements:*** Solid experience in automation, protection, and power control systems — including responsibility for managing, consulting, and/or negotiating product/service offers with external customers. * Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for automation, protection, and power control systems; substation automation (SPCS); solar and wind substation automation; * Experience with building automation system (BMS) projects; * Prior work experience selecting and applying products for public utility power companies (generation, transmission, and distribution segments); * Sufficient knowledge to define architectures for power automation systems, building automation systems, metering systems, and telecommunications systems; * Subcontractor negotiation skills. * Skills in power system automation, Smart Grid, Micro Grid, and SCADA. * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering — preferably with emphasis on power systems * Advanced English proficiency * Knowledge of taxes and duties **Location:** São Paulo\-SP **Join our team today!
