Focus on technical excellence and customer obsession. **About the Role** We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Junior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. This professional will support data ingestion, organization, and transformation under supervision, ensuring data quality and availability for analytics. The candidate will work closely with product, operations, pricing, and engineering teams to operationalize data pipelines. **Key Responsibilities** * Build and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines in collaboration with more experienced data engineers. * Assist in data modeling (raw, processed, and consumable layers). * Monitor data loads and respond to data incidents. * Support documentation of data team processes and practices. * Collaborate with analysts and product and engineering teams to understand data requirements. **Requirements** * Practical experience with SQL and relational database concepts. * Familiarity with ELT/ETL tools and data processing. * Interest in data quality and pipeline engineering. **Nice-to-Have** * Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda). * Familiarity with AWS data services (Glue, Step Functions, EventBridge). * Basic knowledge of Python and data integration frameworks. * Curiosity about business metrics and continuous improvement. **About Us** Nice to meet you — we’re Darwin Seguros.
