Job Summary: We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer to implement Lambdas, create APIs, develop services, and integrate messaging systems—ensuring security and best practices with AI assistance. Key Highlights: 1. Development using .NET 8+ Lambdas and Node.js with NestJS 2. API development and integration of messaging services 3. Use of AI (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to support development **Mid-Level Developer (Backend)** **Responsibilities** * Implement **Lambdas** in .NET 8\+ and/or Node.js. * Create and maintain APIs using **API Gateway**. * Develop backend services using **NestJS**, where applicable. * Integrate messaging and communication services (SNS, SQS, SES). * Ensure best practices for **logging, tracing, error handling, and security**. * Work with **SQL Server**, including queries, stored procedures, and basic optimizations. * Use **AI tools to support development (GitHub Copilot and Cursor)**, following team-defined standards and ensuring responsible and secure usage. **Technical Requirements** * .NET 8\+ (C\#) * Node.js * AWS Lambda \+ API Gateway * NestJS (practical knowledge) * SQL Server (CRUD, joins, indexes) * Messaging (SNS / SQS) * AWS Security (IAM Roles, Secrets Manager) * Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) * Git * Linux/Bash * PowerShell **Desirable** * Automated testing (xUnit, NUnit, Jest) * Observability (CloudWatch, X\-Ray) * Basic understanding of Lambda performance tuning * Experience with Vite on the frontend (integration with backend) * Familiarity with best practices for AI usage throughout the development lifecycle **Soft Skills** * Clear and concise communication with both technical and non-technical teams. * Ability to provide technical leadership without formal hierarchy. * Critical thinking to review PRs, suggest improvements, and anticipate technical risks. * Ownership * Time management \& prioritization * Systems thinking \& evolutionary architecture * Emotional intelligence \& resilience Hybrid, once per week\- Verbo Divino (South Zone)
