We are looking for a **Senior Designer**: **Requirements:** * Generally, as part of responsibilities, possess knowledge of technical documentation development through application of fundamental engineering theories, techniques, and practices. Familiar with relevant standards, regulations, building codes, manufacturing standards, and standard design practices for control and development; * Experience in Civil Engineering within the mining sector, including multidisciplinary projects, infrastructure projects, geometric design, pavement design, signage, earthworks, drainage sizing, and quantity take-offs; * Preliminary and/or detailed design of drainage structures, hydraulic calculations, quantity take-offs, sketch preparation, compilation of calculation memoranda, preparation of quantity schedules, and creation of pavement, earthwork, drainage, signage, geometric, and 3D model drawings; * English (spoken, written, and comprehension); * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to navigate intranet pages, conduct research, and synthesize information. Organize information from multiple sources according to prescribed formats and policies; * Knowledge of specialized design tools, analysis, modeling, and data-centric multidisciplinary development methods; * Familiarity with software such as CIVIL3D, INFRAWORKS, OPEN ROADS, etc. **Responsibilities:** * Collect data from multiple sources and prepare engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. Support recommendations and prepare final documentation. * Identify technical issues, assist in developing alternative solutions, evaluate pros/cons of various options, and make recommendations via official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. * Create final documentation incorporating all relevant information and obtain client approval. May review similar documentation to assist others and review/authorize work performed by the team; * Participate in preparing documents, drawings, spreadsheets, and supporting Senior Engineers and Discipline Supervisors; If you have passion and talent for staying current, it’s time to test the limits of what you can become.
