### **Job Summary:** A professional responsible for performing simultaneous and consecutive oral interpretation between Portuguese and English, ensuring clear, accurate, and efficient communication between national and foreign teams in a high-risk industrial environment. Will work in technical meetings, safety inductions, field accompaniments, trainings, audits, inspections, and operational activities, guaranteeing correct understanding of information, standards, and procedures applicable to the facility. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform simultaneous and consecutive oral interpretation between Portuguese and English; * Support communication between foreign professionals and operational, administrative, and technical teams; * Participate in meetings, trainings, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), safety inductions, inspections, and field activities; * Translate technical terms related to industrial operations, occupational safety, maintenance, and engineering; * Ensure confidentiality, impartiality, and fidelity of transmitted information; * Assist in interpreting operational procedures, internal standards, and safety guidelines; * Accompany foreign visitors, clients, auditors, and suppliers within the industrial plant; * Ensure efficient communication in operational environments classified as Risk Level 4; * Strictly comply with the facility’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards; * Correctly use mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow access and circulation procedures in industrial areas. ### **Requirements:** * Completed high school education (bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, International Relations, or related fields is desirable); * Fluency in English and Portuguese; * Prior experience as an interpreter in industrial environments, construction sites, or field operations; * Knowledge of industrial and occupational safety technical terminology; * Availability for on-site work in industrial areas; * Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and discretion.
