PHARMACY ASSISTANT / TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Dispensing and portioning of medications according to prescribed medical orders, as requested and required by the hospital; * Operating the machine for sealing medication strips; * Preparing medication strips for patients; * Labeling medications in general and medication strips; * Preparing unit doses and unit-dose packaging of medications; * Receiving and dispensing prescribed enteral and parenteral nutrition, as well as other pharmacy health products and materials, such as diapers, tapes, lancets, etc.; * Strict control of controlled substances (psychotropic and narcotic drugs); * Participation in logistics for distribution to nursing wards and departments; * Inventory management and expiry date control; * Receiving and storing medications, verifying and recording expiry dates, batch numbers, quantities, and other relevant information; * Daily verification and documentation of refrigerator and cold room temperatures; * Recording medication and other pharmacy health product inflows and outflows; * Performing other related duties within the scope of practice.
