Job Summary: The Inhotim Institute seeks a professional for the Education area, responsible for leading teams, developing educational projects, and improving cultural mediation processes—harmonizing art and nature. Recognized as Latin America’s largest open-air museum, the Inhotim Institute—a Botanical Garden and Museum of Contemporary Art—is seeking a candidate for its **Education** area. Located in Brumadinho (MG) since 2006, Inhotim is a nonprofit organization funded through ticket sales, event hosting, and donations from individuals and legal entities—either directly or via Federal and State Cultural Incentive Laws. Its landscapes across 140 hectares of visitor areas offer a unique experience that blends art and nature. More than 500 people collaborate daily to keep this entire structure running. Join our team too! **Responsibilities and Duties** PEOPLE MANAGEMENT * Lead the team of educators, monitoring and guiding their activities, and providing necessary support to achieve project goals and objectives aligned with the Education and Territory Directorate’s guidelines. * Participate in planning vacations, time-off schedules, and time-banking for direct reports; monitor absences and attendance to ensure compliance with labor legislation. * Manage work teams, fostering the professional and personal development of staff members and enhancing their competencies. * Identify areas for improvement and encourage and motivate educators under supervision to pursue excellence in their work. * Conduct individual check-ins (1:1\) and provide regular feedback on work scope and performance. * Deliver 45-day and 90-day onboarding feedback sessions and support continuous development processes. * Carry out onboarding, training, and integration of new staff members. * Participate in selection processes for the area. STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT * Design methodologies and action plans for projects under supervision (including scheduling, routines, team meetings, feedback sessions, educational content, and training). * Develop and enhance educator training processes to improve the quality and impact of educational initiatives. * Research and propose future education projects for validation by management and the Directorate. * Conduct research and propose solutions to improve processes and resolve everyday challenges. * Represent the institution regarding project implementation within your operational focus, contacting schools, partner institutions, diverse professionals, teachers, students, and the community to clarify questions. PROCESS MANAGEMENT * Monitor area-specific indicators, assess results, draft relevant action plans, and present them to support decision-making, course corrections, and strategic adjustments. * Create and implement mechanisms for generating and analyzing data related to public engagement in Activation projects, considering audience experience. * Conceptualize, from a cultural mediation perspective, the foundational principles of data analysis, narrative, and dissemination. * Prepare institutional project and process monitoring reports for sponsors and partners. * Evaluate, validate, and advise on activity proposals developed by the educator team within project scopes, as well as work plans and activation proposals by invited guest facilitators. * Report execution-related information and outcomes of project activities to the Projects and Sponsor Relations departments. PROJECT MANAGEMENT * Monitor daily progress of scheduled activities, identifying potential delays and bottlenecks in execution. * Track time allocation and staff movements, adjusting schedules and routines to reallocate effort toward critical activities that may jeopardize project goals and objectives. * Ensure each project’s schedule status is reported clearly and objectively to management and the Directorate. * Review and approve interim and final project deliverables (materials produced by educators, reports, applied methodologies), ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives—and with the Education and Territory Directorate’s guidelines, as well as the museum’s Mission, Vision, and Values. * Review and submit procurement and service contracting requests required for project implementation, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and approved budgets. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Candidate Profile:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Education, Pedagogy, Arts, Natural Sciences, Humanities, Architecture, Museology, Social Sciences, or related fields; * Prior experience in education/cultural mediation (museums, cultural centers, botanical gardens) is required; * Knowledge of or interest in art and nature, and contemporary education issues; * Basic understanding of accessibility in cultural spaces; * Leadership profile; * Excellent interpersonal skills; * **Availability to work on weekends and holidays.** **Additional Information** **About the Position:** * CLT employment regime; * Health insurance, dental insurance, chartered transportation, transportation allowance, meals provided on-site, Culture Voucher, Wellhub membership, and life insurance. #### **Inhotim** Inhotim is a Museum of Contemporary Art and Botanical Garden located in Brumadinho (MG) since 2006\.
