Job Summary: Professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, performing tests, identifying faults, and ensuring proper operation of electrical installations. Key Highlights: 1. Install and maintain components of the electrical grid. 2. Perform tests and repairs on electrical installations and circuits. 3. Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance for buildings. Main Responsibilities: Install distribution panels, raceways, fuse boxes, circuit breakers, lamps, ballasts, luminaires, outlets, and switches, as well as other components of the electrical grid, using appropriate tools and equipment. Cut, bend, and install conduits using appropriate equipment, steel fish tapes, clamps, and fastening devices to allow wiring passage. Install electrical conductors using wrenches, pliers, connectors, and insulating materials to enable power distribution. Perform tests on electrical installations. Test electrical circuits using electrical and electronic measuring instruments to identify possible faults or defects. Replace or repair damaged wires and components using hand and specialized tools, insulating materials, and soldering, restoring proper functionality of the installation. Identify and keep electrical circuits up to date, ensuring correct identification of distribution panels and main switchboards (QGBT) of buildings. Perform preventive and corrective building maintenance routines related to the electrical area. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance and operation of substations and power generators. Perform other activities inherent to the role under the guidance and supervision of the supervisor.
