Description
An Estimator's responsibilities involve cost analysis and budget preparation for projects. Key duties include analyzing technical drawings, specifications, and project proposals; developing detailed cost estimates; collaborating with engineering, procurement, and production teams; preparing and presenting estimation and budget reports; conducting post-project analysis to compare actual costs; and documenting all related activities.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in analyzing projects, specifications, and technical documents to prepare detailed cost estimates;
• Assist in quantitative takeoffs of materials, equipment, and other requirements;
• Develop budget schedules together with the team and financial forecasts for projects;
• Assist in identifying risks and proposing solutions or adjustments to financial planning;
• Prepare estimation reports under supervision and present justifications to technical teams and clients;
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to adjust proposals according to requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related fields;
- Advanced English proficiency;
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cost estimation;
- Familiarity with estimation software such as PlanSwift and Bluebeam, as well as advanced Excel skills.
