Join Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Attributes** * Manage spot purchases, including quotation, negotiation, and contracting of materials, services, and external repairs. * Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring compliance with Procurement SLAs and operational requirements—including plant shutdowns—with focus on guaranteeing operational continuity. * Manage and develop suppliers to ensure agility, competitiveness, and supply continuity. * Identify and implement innovation opportunities, drive continuous process improvement, and support material development—adopting market-leading best practices. * Support audits and train requisitioners across business units on procurement procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; * Experience in Materials/Services Procurement; * Experience managing: performance indicators, suppliers, and procurement portfolios; * Experience in industrial/mining/maintenance sectors; * Negotiation and financial analysis skills (TCO analysis, should-cost analysis, commercial benchmarking, etc.); * ERP system knowledge (SAP), e-procurement tools (Coupa); * Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). **Desirable** * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Procurement; * Problem Analysis and Solving Methodology (MASP), and management tools and methodologies (PDCA, Six Sigma, 5W2H, etc.); * Experience in transformation and continuous improvement projects. **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and empowered to be their authentic selves.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
